A journalist for more than 15 years, Donna has worked for Australian commercial TV news, radio networks and newspapers in Australia and South Africa. She has spent the past 12 years devoting her expertise to communications and media management and helping organisations, particularly in the resources sector, successfully manage media opportunities
Through ”LastSay.”, Donna has worked on projects for a number of major multi-national corporations such as Alcoa Australia, Cameco Australia, BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto, as well as for both the State and Federal Governments and non-profit organisations. Donna has provided media training to hundreds of candidates, including many influential leaders in Australia’s corporate and government sectors. In addition to being a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia, Donna is also a registered government lobbyist.
Leanne has sound experience in many areas of public relations and is a particularly strong writer across all formats. After completing an Associate Diploma of Arts (Media Studies), she began her working career as a cadet journalist, rising quickly though the ranks to become an accomplished newspaper editor. Her knowledge of the Australian media landscape and the workings of the media is second to none.
Since the late 1990s she has developed extensive consulting skills across all areas of public relations, with a particular focus on community and stakeholder engagement for meaningful and positive project outcomes. Her experience, professionalism and straightforward approach means Leanne is now highly regarded and sought after by a range of construction, resources, government, private and not-for-profit clients.
Ashlee has completed a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations in London and in Perth. She worked at both rural and metropolitan newspapers before succumbing to the immediacy and excitement of online news with a two-year position at WAtoday.
Growing up in a small mining town in the state’s South West, Ashlee has developed an interest in the resources sector. Working at a civil construction company for 12 months allowed Ashlee to further develop her knowledge of the industry while working on internal and external communication and contractual issues with blue chip Western Australian mining and resource clients. She has played in junior state country basketball and netball teams and has interests in environmental issues, education and entertainment.
Gemma holds a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction, majoring in journalism and marketing. Growing up in a mining sector family, Gemma has an understanding of many industries within the resources sector.
Having worked for magazines, online and print publications, Gemma is passionate about the written word and is a sound writer in all formats.
Gemma has a keen interest in health and popular culture and has experience working for lifestyle media as a writer and publicist. With great attention to detail, she is particularly strong in planning and managing events big and small, allowing clients to enjoy their event and mingle with stakeholders, rather than worry about its logistics. Gemma’s work is characterised by her focus on strategy.
Gemma is an avid traveller with great interest and knowledge of international cultures, cuisines and traditions.
Sonia has more than 20 years’ experience in media and public relations in both Australia and
She has worked as a journalist for regional and metropolitan newspapers, for Channel 9’s National Nine News and A Current Affair and for TVNZ’s One News and Close Up. She has hosted television news bulletins in South Australia and New Zealand and has presented lifestyle segments.
Her public relations experience includes serving as a Senior Media Adviser to a Western Australian State Government Minister. Sonia enjoys coaching in interview presentation as well as in speech and media performance. She specialises in preparing media strategies and writing releases and articles. Sonia is a confident writer, story teller and communicator.
Barry has had many years experience as a strategic communications adviser for the WA Government and was Director of the Government Media Office and key communications adviser to former Premier Richard Court and his Cabinet Ministers.
Barry later became Director of Communications for the Australian Medical Association and now sits on several boards. He has played cricket for Western Australia and maintains a key interest in government, community, sporting and media issues.
Barry has an extensive background in newspaper journalism both here and in London and was Deputy Editor of the Perth Daily News when it closed. Barry works closely with clients to best advise them on engaging with government, industry and investors.
Steve has extensive experience in the mining industry, emergency services, training and facilitation. He has assisted many business leaders in local and state government and the private sector in critical issues management and is a qualified workplace trainer and assessor.

A marketing professional with broad industry experience, Eddy’s areas of expertise include strategic marketing, brand development and marketing communications. His ‘left-brain/right-brain’ approach to marketing enables clients to experience creative marketing executions through an engaging, strategic and structured approach.
Eddy has worked both in Australia and in Asia. He has held marketing management roles within a number of industries including mining, housing and construction, manufacturing, utilities and retail. Eddy has also worked in consulting roles for major companies in the airline, fisheries, broadcasting, sporting and motor vehicle industries. His previous consulting work has included projects for a number of leading global brands including Timex, Qantas and the Kao Corporation of Japan.
Eddy has previously lectured in Marketing at MBA level at the University of Western Australia, and International Management at Curtin University.
